Our Vision Statement:

"Growing, Maturing and Exporting

Growing:

(Matthew 13:8) …some seeds fell in good soil, and the plants bore grain: some one hundred, others sixty, and others thirty – We grow plants by planting seeds and reaping the harvest. We grow as a church by sharing our testimony with people and inviting them to know our Lord.

Maturing:

(Eph 4:13) …till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ – God’s desire is for us to grow in our faith, to the point where we are no longer tossed to and fro by the doctrines of man but instead know our Bibles well and living out that knowledge daily.

Exporting:

(Mark 16:15) …Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. – We are called to evangelism whether it is here in Katikati or elsewhere in the world. Our faith must not stay within the confines of the church building.

Genuine:

(Romans 1:8) …I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world. – As people see us put our faith into action, Jesus will be glorified in our lives. 

Disciples:

(John 15:8) …bear much fruit; so shall you be my disciples. – The implication is that if we are not bearing fruit then we are not His disciples but merely ‘hearers of the word’.

 Christ:

(John 20:31) …these are written, that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you might have life through his name. – Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the life”. The world doesn’t mind God but they have a problem with Jesus. Through our lives, we must show them that He is who He claims to be.
